NWBC – Asia 2019 Service Trip

To provide daily programming for children of our Asia partners’ from birth through fifth grade, medical team, IT specialists, hospitality services and more.

International Partner Registration: Complete STEPabroad 2019 form as it becomes available and sent to you — then return to email@example.com. One document for each church team is needed.
$750 due February 15, 2019 paid to: NWBC, 3200 NE 109th Ave., Vancouver, WA 98682. Please make reference on the check to East Asia Mission Trip.
$550 due April 15, 2019
The total deposit of $1,300 will cover double occupancy housing, breakfast and lunch July 14-21, and ground transportation between the airport and hotel. All other meals and sightseeing are at your own expense.
Volunteers may purchase their airline tickets individually or as a group. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for location. A recommended travel agent is listed or you may use the agent of your choosing. Volunteers must be in place by July 12 and purchasing your ticket by March 31 with travel insurance is highly recommended. Return flights may be scheduled for July 24.

A mandatory training date for all volunteers is scheduled for March 16 at 10 am – 2:30 pm at the Northwest Baptist Center, 3200 NE 109th Ave., Vancouver, WA and includes lunch. Age graded leaders will present curriculum to be used at the conference and networking with other volunteers will begin.
All participants are required to submit a verifiable background check from within the last two years. We encourage the use of Protect My Ministry, which may be found at protectmyministry.com.
Each church group must submit a letter from the pastor or mission team leader acknowledging that each volunteer who participates is qualified to serve and approved for the mission trip.
Partial scholarships of $500 each are available for college students. Also pastors who are traveling as a first time participant in an Asia service trip are qualified. Go to http://www.nwbaptist.org/nwbc_resources/east-asia-partnership/ for more information.
Travel health insurance is required by the international partner through Gallagher at the cost of $3.30 per day, even if you currently have health insurance coverage. This is a low cost policy and information may be found at www.travelwithgallagher.com.
Secure your passport now, and remember it must be valid for six months after travel is completed. No Visa is required for U.S. citizens. Get your immunizations as needed – up to date routine vaccinations are recommended, such as MMR, DPT, chickenpox, polio and flu shots. Most travelers will want to be vaccinated for Hepatitis A and typhoid.
