Seaside Civic & Convention Center
Seaside, Oregon

February 2014

Oasis 2014 is a retreat for leaders sponsored by the Northwest Baptist Convention designed to equip and refresh leaders for increased effectiveness in fulfilling the Great Commission.

The theme for this year’s Oasis is “Overflow.”  Oftentimes ministry can leave us feeling drained.  We hope to learn together from leaders God used in Scripture and in history who served and led out of an overflow, along with having opportunity to rest and refresh.

Featured Leaders include Gabe Kolstad, Pastor, of Westside Community Church of Beaverton, Oregon, and his wife MelissaJosh Martin, Worship Arts Pastor for Resonate Church, Pullman, Washington, will lead our worship, and Randy Adams, NWBC Executive Director-Treasurer, will also participate.

When and Where?  Oasis is May 19-21 beginning with a banquet meal Monday evening at the Seaside Civic and Convention Center (www.seasideconvention.com) in Seaside, Oregon, and concludes before noon on Wednesday.  Lodging will be arranged for you at either Rivertide Suites or Best Western Oceanview Resort.

Who can come to Oasis? Pastors, vocational church staff, and their spouses.

What is expected? Participants are asked to attend the two evening banquet sessions but everything else is optional.

Cost?  Oasis is $125 couple/$75 individual. Included are two nights lodging, two evening meals, two breakfast buffets, and program costs.  Participants are responsible for other meals.
