What Is See You at the Pole?
First, you need to know that SYATP is student-initiated, student-organized, and student-led. That means this is all about students meeting at their school flagpole to pray—for their school, friends, teachers, government, and nation. This is not a demonstration, political rally, or a stand for or against anything.

A young lady in Illinois was interviewed by a newspaper reporter who couldn’t believe SYATP was not a protest or demonstration. “Is this the only time of the year you pray?” he asked. She replied, “We pray all year long, anytime and everywhere.” “Even in restrooms?” “Yes, we even pray in restrooms.” The headline read: “Students pray all year long, restrooms, hallways, anywhere.”
