Language Missions facilitates new work by:

  • Providing field surveys and on-site evaluations by consultants
  • Conducting personal assessments, interviews, and seminars
  • Resources and Contextual materials provided for individuals,
churches, and regional associations of churches
  • Contextual Leadership Development (CLD) and various levels
of training are provided for workers and ethnic leadership

To date, the Northwest Baptist Convention comprises approximately 430 affiliated churches and missions. More than one hundred-thirty five (135) of these units speak one of seventeen different languages, not withstanding a multitude of dialects. Ethnic/culture people groups come to America for various reasons. They are either Christians or seekers (Acts 17:26). It is our privilege as well as responsibility to share the Gospel and the love of Jesus Christ.

There are many facets to language/culture missions and ministries. If The Lord has impressed diversity and missions upon your heart, please allow us to help you and equip you as a good steward of the Gospel (I Pet. 3:15). As a result of your obedience, you may be the key to an unreached people group in America. Yes, international mission opportunities are all around us. Your input and inquiry is always welcome. We look forward to hearing from you.
